Authentic vintage Winnie the Pooh plush produced in the 1970s. This early Pooh bear features a soft yellow plush body with classic early Pooh proportions. The facial embroidery shows age-related wear, including disrupted stitching at the mouth, and the nose shows heavy surface wear and texture loss consistent with long-term handling.

The sewn-in fabric tag reads Copyright Walt Disney Productions and lists J. Swedlin Inc. as the licensee, an older Disney naming and licensing convention used prior to the mid-1980s corporate change. The reverse tag references Gund Mfg. Co. of Brooklyn, New York, indicating production during Gunds Brooklyn manufacturing era. The tag also notes rubber contents, a material reference commonly found on mid-century plush.
