This rare volume is a facsimile reprint of H. W. Foght's 1906 history of Nebraska's Loup River region, written by a longtime settler whose family were original homesteaders and who dedicated himself to study of the geology and history of the region. It was reprinted by the Garfield County Historical Society as a US Bicentennial project in 1976. A gently used hardback in very good condition (near new!), with tight binding, clean pages without any tears or stains or markings, and a clean cover without grime or visible wear. Smoke-free home. A great addition to a collection on local Nebraska (especially Garfield County) history, the Great Plains, or US West. See all photos carefully to judge the condition.
