new old stock 1958 Voigtländer Bessamatic SLR camera in remarkable condition. This is a true collector’s piece complete with its original box, manual, Voigtländer lens cap, pristine Color-Skopar 50/2.8 lens, & leather case with neck strap.
I am the second owner; this camera was purchased from an estate sale where the original owner collected & carefully preserved vintage cameras. To the best of my knowledge, this Bessamatic was never actually shot - only cared for and maintained over the decades. Condition & Functionality:
All dials move smoothly, free & clear, with full operational control. Shutter fires crisply and consistently. Built-in selenium light meter is responsive & works well (small bit of corrosion on the plastic trim of the meter - purely cosmetic and can be cleaned). Lens is crystal clear, free of dust or fungus. Viewfinder is bright and clear. This is as close as you’ll get to owning a “brand new” 67-year-old Voigtländer Bessamatic perfect for collectors/photographers
